U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on Friday announced that the initial registration period<\/strong> for the FY 2023 H-1B cap<\/strong> will open around early afternoon Eastern on 1st March 2022<\/strong> and run through early afternoon Eastern on 18th March 2022<\/strong>. During this period, prospective petitioners and representatives will want to complete and submit their registrations using USCIS online-based H-1B registration system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USCIS <\/strong>will assign a confirmation number to every registration submitted for the FY 2023 H-1B cap<\/strong>. This number is used solely to track registrations; you can’t use this number to track your case status in Case Status Online<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prospective H-1B cap-subject petitioners <\/strong>or their representatives are needed to utilize a myUSCIS<\/strong> online account to register every beneficiary electronically for the selection process and pay the associated $10 H-1B registration fee<\/strong> for each registration submitted on behalf of every beneficiary. Prospective petitioners submitting their registrations (U.S. employers and U.S. agents<\/strong>, all things considered, known as “registrants”) will utilize a “registrant” account. Registrants will want to create new accounts starting around early afternoon Eastern on 21st February 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
