The United States has announced the extension of its “premium processing<\/strong>” service to include candidates for an Employment Authorization Document. In a bid to ease its multi-million case immigration backlog<\/strong> and expedite your work permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Employment Authorization Document<\/strong> allows recipients to work in the U.S. while they seek asylum or another legal status<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 2 million<\/strong> individuals apply for new or renewed work permits every year, as per USCIS information.<\/strong> The process typically takes five to seven months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Move to cut a 9.5 million-case backlog and expedite your work permit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Under the new rule, people looking for work permits<\/strong> can pay $1,500<\/strong> to have their applications considered in 30 days<\/strong> or less. The premium fee ranges up to $2,500 <\/strong>for applications for different sorts of employment-related adjustments in legal status<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The USCIS manages requests for work permits, asylum, green cards<\/strong>, U.S. citizenship, and other immigration benefits. Including the temporary H-1B program<\/strong> for highly skilled foreign workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The immigration agency <\/strong>has been struggling with backlogs, which were exacerbated by the Covid pandemic<\/strong>.
