All cutoff dates listed refer to the dates in the <strong>final action chart <\/strong>(i.e., Chart A) unless otherwise specified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Possible imposition of Final Action cutoff date for EB-3 Other Workers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Visa Bulletin May 2022<\/strong> continues to warn that the high number utilized in the<strong> EB-3 Other Workers <\/strong>category might require the establishment of a worldwide Final Action date as soon as<strong> June 2022<\/strong>, to hold the number used within the maximum allowed under the FY2022 yearly limit. The <strong>State Department<\/strong> noticed that it will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments, as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>May 2022 Visa Bulletin Summary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the State Department\u2019s <strong>May Visa Bulletin 2022<\/strong>, Final Action cutoff dates for the issuance of an immigrant visa will be as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Employment-Based, First Preference (EB1) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The EB1 category remains current for all countries of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Employment-Based, Second Preference (EB2) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The cutoff date for EB2 India advances to <strong>1st September 2013<\/strong>. EB2 China&#8217;s cutoff date remains unchanged on <strong>1st March 2019<\/strong>. EB2 is current for any remaining nations of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Employment-Based, Third Preference (EB3) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again, there is no development in the <strong>EB3 category<\/strong>. The cutoff date for EB3 India remains unchanged on <strong>15th January 2012<\/strong>, while EB3 China still has a <strong>22nd March 2018 <\/strong>cutoff date. The EB3 category remains current for any remaining nations of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>EB3 Other Workers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Except for China, the cutoff dates for <strong>EB3 other workers<\/strong> are the same for each nation as its respective EB3 cutoff dates. For China, the cutoff date for EB3 different workers remains stuck on <strong>1st June 2012<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Employment-Based, Fourth Preference (EB4) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no development in the EB4 category, with the cutoff date for El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras remaining on<strong> 1st May 2017<\/strong>. For EB4 Mexico, the cutoff date is still set for<strong> 1st April 2020<\/strong>. This category is current for any remaining nations of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Employment-Based, Fifth Preference (EB5) Category<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The EB5 category is current for all nations of chargeability, except for China.
