Recently, the U.S. Department of State (DOS<\/strong>) released the July 2022 Visa Bulletin<\/strong>. All cutoff dates listed refer to the dates in the final action chart (i.e., Chart A) unless otherwise determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It turns, out that our July Visa Bulletin 2022 predictions<\/strong> were extremely near the actual results – particularly with India EB3<\/strong>. The movement in many categories was negligible, however, hopefully, more movement is on the horizon for the rest of 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USCIS July 2022 Visa Bulletin Predictions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As expected, India EB3 h<\/strong>as no change for dates for filing applications and final action dates. As of now, it doesn’t appear that India’s EB3 will make much movement until September <\/strong>of this fiscal year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final action date for India EB2<\/strong> progressed by 90 days<\/strong>, and the dates for filing applications moved slightly ahead by just one month<\/strong>. While we understand this movement isn\u2019t what most green card<\/strong> candidates were expecting, it gives us trust that retrogression isn’t too far off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 2022 Visa Bulletin Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to the State Department\u2019s July Visa Bulletin 2022<\/strong>, Final Action cutoff dates for the issuance of an immigrant visa will be as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employment-Based, First Preference (EB1) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The EB1 category remains current for all countries of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employment-Based, Second Preference (EB2) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The cutoff date for EB2 India advances by a couple of months, to 1st December 2014<\/strong>. EB2 China’s cutoff dates move ahead to 1st April 2019<\/strong>. EB2 is current for any remaining nations of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employment-Based, Third Preference (EB3) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As has been the new trend, there is no development in the EB3 category<\/strong>. The cutoff date for EB3 India remains on 15th January 2012<\/strong>, while EB3 China keeps a 22nd March 2018<\/strong> cutoff date. The EB3 category remains current for any remaining nations of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EB3 Other Workers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The cutoff date for EB3 different workers in India is the same as its EB3 cutoff date. For China, the cutoff date for EB3 other workers<\/strong> remains stuck on 1st June 2012<\/strong>. For any remaining nations of chargeability, EB3 other workers retrogress to 8th May 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employment-Based, Fourth Preference (EB4) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The EB4 cutoff date advances to 8th November 2017<\/strong>, for El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. For EB4 Mexico, the cutoff date stays on 1st April 2020.<\/strong> This category is current for any remaining nations of chargeability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[SB1 Visa Process Following Prolonged Absence for Green Card Holders<\/span><\/a>]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Employment-Based, Fifth Preference (EB5) Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

EB5 remains current for any remaining nations of chargeability, except for China. China’s cutoff date for EB5 unreserved (i.e., EB5 immigrant visa<\/strong> numbers not put away for rural, high unemployment, and foundation projects) is 22nd November 2015<\/strong>. EB5 set aside for China is current.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
